We woke up at to a beautiful view of Los Arcos which are the rock formations in Cabo. I took Xander and Xayne and headed up to the buffet to load our trays and brought them back to our room to eat and get ready. We were ready and headed to the Walt Disney Theater for the tender. We arrived at the theater and there was no wait so the CM took us to the tender boat and we were able to get right on. It took us to the marina and let us off there. We were to be back by 1:00 as the last tender was at 1:30 and we wouldn't want to cut it too close.
After we arrived Roland bargained with a nice man and agreed on a price of $40 for the 6 of us. He would take us to Los Arcos, Lover's Beach, the Pacific Window, Divorce Beach, the caves where Pirates of the Caribbean was filmed, through a snorkeling area to see barracudas and jellyfish and then drop us off at the resort La Estancia.
Our tour was very nice. We boarded a typical water taxi as they call them in Cabo and had a very nice tour. The driver spoke pretty good english and between his broken english and our broken spanish we made out quite well. The kids enjoyed it and loved seeing all the different fish. Of course the caves that Pirates of the Caribbean were filmed were a hit with the boys. After our tour, he dropped us off at the resort where Roland had stayed with his brothers and cousins last August for a bachelor party. It is a beautiful resort. We had lunch there and then took a taxi into town and hit up Cabo Wabo. Cabo Wabo is owned by Sammy Hagar and is a fun place to party while in Cabo. It was of course empty on a weekday at this hour, but we had fun goofing around. After we left Cabo Wabo, we walked around the town and back towards the tender area. We were in the tender line at noon and back on the ship within 15 minutes.
Tonight was semi-formal night so we all showered so that we wouldn't have to rush later. They were showing their most popular show this evening called "Disney Dreams" and since it is so popular, they were offering it at 3:00pm as well. We decided to see it at 3:00 so we could attend some other shows this evening. It was great and everyone enjoyed it. It is definitely my favorite show of theirs.
After the show we all went back to the cabin and got dressed for dinner. We would be eating in Parrot Cay this evening. The food was good and the kids were tired so after dinner we went back to the stateroom and watched Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory until it was time to go to bed.
And the towel animal of the night was........
Coming next.....Day 7....our last full day...boo..hoo
