Day 2...Our first day at sea

Day 2 was a lazy day for us.  We decided to have breakfast in Triton's as we heard it was a nice experience.  It proved to be correct.  I was like a dinner service, but for breakfast.  I had eggs Benedict and it was quite delicious.  I had never had them before so I asked for the sauce on the side.  Surprisingly, I liked it and put it where it belonged...on top of my eggs.  The service was quick and efficient and the food came out hot.  The kids enjoyed their meals of pancakes and Mickey waffles as well.

After breakfast the kids wanted to go play at the kid's club so we took them up there and went on our way to enjoy some kid free time.  We watched The Art of Entertaining in Studio Sea.  They made a tuna type dish and paired it with a nice wine, then we hit up the DVC member meeting and tried to win some on-board credit.  Well, no luck with the on-board credit but we did win a bag!

We picked the kids up after the DVC meeting and went to lunch.  The kids wanted chicken strips and pizza so we all got a few different items and shared with everyone.  After lunch we decided to take it easy and went down to the cabin to see if anyone would nap.....nope.  Instead we watched Karate Kid 3.

Before we knew it,  it was time to start getting ready for formal night.  Everyone got dressed up and we went upstairs to hit up some picture places and meet the Captain.  The boys were impressed with the Captain and asked him a few questions about how he drives "such a big ship".

We headed off to Triton's for dinner and it was great.  Everyone looked so nice all dressed up.

After dinner we headed off to get in line for the show.  It was "The Golden Mickey's" and we enjoyed it quite a bit. Xander was picked to be one of the dwarf's in the show.  There was a CM walking around and he said "hello" to her and she started talking to him.  Needless to say, Xayne was upset that he wasn't picked, but when the CM tried to talk to him he was being shy.

After the show, we took the kids and Grandma back to the room and everyone turned in for the night.  It must have been all the fresh air and sunshine that made us all so tired. We of course were greeted by our cute towel animal of the day.

Next up...Day 3, our 2nd Day at Sea
